Senior

The Senior year curriculum of the Shepard Academy focuses on the study of social, physical, and historical influences on government, the creation of law, and the process of justice. Opportunities to discuss social issues with community leaders, attend guest lecture series and seminars, tour state and federal courts, and even participate in ambassadorship programs or internships with local law firms will provide practical application and experience.

The students will gain valuable experience by presenting oral reports focused on data analysis and related demographic data.  They will also engage in group discussions and debates, and working both cooperatively and independently to solve problems, conduct research, and participate in advocacy volunteerism.

Students will earn credit in AP Literature/Composition, Government, Economics, International Relations, and Current Problems, Issues, and Events.
