Junior Year

Juniors enrolled in the Academy engage in the careful reading and critical analysis of topics related to American social justice issues from historical and literary perspectives. The curriculum and experiences deepen students’ critical thinking, expository writing and public speaking skills through an in-depth study of the American legal system and social movements. Students earn credits in AP Language/Composition*, Advanced Speech*, Special Topics in Social Justice*, Law Education, The History of American Social Movements*, Debate, and Community Service.
